Ajay Devgn, one of Bollywood’s biggest pranksters, recently talked about some of his wild pranks with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia. Ajay admitted that his pranks were sometimes so extreme that they even “caused divorces”. In a clip, Ajay is seen playing a prank on a cameraman.
Director Rohit Shetty, who was also in the interview, laughed and shared a story of an even bigger prank. He said, “We once sent a woman with kids to a team member’s house, pretending she was his first wife.
We went that far!” Ajay admitted that back then, they didn’t worry about people getting offended and joked, “Our pranks even caused a couple of divorces”.
Actor and costume designer Dolly Ahluwalia also shared her experience of Ajay’s pranks on the “Omkara” set. She said, “Ajay was the biggest prankster. He once brought “bhang” ladoos to set, and people who ate them for the first time would pass out.
Ajay and Vivek Oberoi would say, ‘Don’t worry, they’ll be fine.’ Director Vishal Bhardwaj knew their tricks, so it was never a serious problem on set. We need these fun moments to keep going”.
Currently, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are celebrating the success of “Singham Again“, which is close to hitting Rs 200 crore at the Indian box office.
